We take a practical, team-driven approach to sustainability. From smart energy systems and facility-wide recycling to volunteering with MDOT’s Adopt-a-Highway program, to granting employees paid time off to support environmental causes they care about. Protecting the planet starts with how we show up in our own communities. We’re always looking for ways to better the ball - for our business, and for the world around us.

We empower our team to make a difference through fully paid parental leave, generous PTO that grows with tenure, and paid days off to volunteer in their communities. We match charitable contributions dollar for dollar, support local innovation with a $10,000 annual grant to Battle Creek startups, and invest in future talent through our internship program. Building a stronger company starts with strengthening the people around us.
Governance
We believe in transparency, accountability, and shared success, which is why we cap executive compensation at no more than three times the average employee salary. It’s one of the ways we ensure value is created and shared across the whole team, not just at the top.
